Aims of the MSE Dissertation are:
- To develop the student’s ability to carry out research in software engineering
- To improve the student’s theoretical understanding of, and ability to apply, software-intensive system development methods
- To give the student the opportunity to do research in and investigate in greater depth any of the topics in the taught modules of the MSE programme
